At the beginning of the nineteenth century, the Industrial Revolution started with a vengeance.  As the railways arose and evolved, new and interesting problems emerged to which solutions were found.  As the impact of the railways on the country's infrastructure became apparent in terms of socioeconomical gains, more investment and improvements to the railways occurred.

 

Race and Design Engineering has been at the forefront of consultancy work for the rail industry for over thirty years, working on projects such as the London Overground, the Channel Tunnel Rail Link, Docklands Light Railway to name but a handful.
